Arrive Calgary, Alberta - Tour Begins
Join Collette Vacations as you explore the beautiful resorts of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 2
Calgary - Banff
Today you depart Calgary for the spectacular Canadian Rockies! Enjoy a visit to the spectacular Moraine Lake and view the incredible Valley of the Ten Peaks from which you will view the unusual “saw-toothed” Ten Peaks. This afternoon depart for Banff and Bow Falls (which you will hear well before you behold its awesome beauty). Later, enjoy a visit to a local ammonite specialist where you will learn about this rare gemstone that is found only in Alberta. Your home this evening is the magnificent Fairmont Banff Springs, known as the “Castle in the Mountains.”

Day 3
Banff - Lake Louise
This morning you’ll travel to the spectacular Lake Louise where you have the opportunity to view its emerald waters and the imposing Victoria Glacier. Enjoy some free time to walk along this beautiful lake and enjoy the majestic mountains. Tonight you will overnight at the incomparable Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 4
Lake Louise - Icefields Parkway - Jasper
A wonderful day of sightseeing is in store for you while en route to Jasper. Journey along the unforgettable Icefields Parkway: behold lovely waterfalls, rushing rivers, glacial peaks, imposing cliffs and snowcapped mountain ranges. Stop at the Columbia Icefields for a ride (weather permitting) across this mass of glacial ice, which is over 1,000 feet thick and represents the largest accumulation of ice south of the Arctic Circle. Continuing up the parkway, perhaps you will see some of the wildlife of the region. Stop at powerful Athabasca Falls, whose waters have carved interesting features into stone, before arriving at your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 5
Jasper
This morning you visit Maligne Lake, one of the prettiest bodies of water in the Canadian Rockies. The remainder of your afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore Jasper’s quaint main street.

Day 6
Jasper - Sun Peaks, British Columbia
Depart Jasper and head for one of the most scenic regions of British Columbia, Sun Peaks. En route, a stop will be made at stunning Maligne Canyon with its plethora of karst formations, before following the Yellowhead Highway. You will pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at over 12,000 feet above sea level, and then continue along the Thompson River before arriving in the resort town of Sun Peaks for an overnight at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

Day 7
Sun Peaks - Victoria
On your way to Victoria, known as the “City of Gardens,” drive through the heart of British Columbia and discover lush forests surrounded by spectacular mountains. Later, travel aboard the BC Ferry for a spectacular cruise through the Gulf Islands with their dramatic coastlines. Continue on to Vancouver Island to arrive at the capital of British Columbia, the Old English-styled Victoria.

Victoria
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of charming Victoria. Afterwards, visit Butchart Gardens and stroll through their 55-acre display of colorful gardens. During your leisure time this afternoon you may choose to explore the Inner Harbour or the impressive Royal BC Museum which features native artifacts and hosts touring exhibits from around the world.

Day 9
Victoria - Vancouver
This morning board the ferry back to Vancouver, host city of the 2010 Winter Olympics! Upon arrival you will experience the splendor of the city with a sightseeing tour that begins at Stanley Park. Visit Chinatown, one of North America’s largest, and the waterfront area before ending up in Gastown, Vancouver’s turn-of-the-century pedestrian mall filled with pubs, restaurants, art galleries, specialty stores, and the world-famous steam-powered clock.

Vancouver - Whistler - Vancouver
This morning you will enjoy the "Sea to Sky" Highway’s spectacular mountain and ocean views en route to Whistler. Upon arrival in Whistler, enjoy some leisure time to explore this famous ski resort on your own. Tonight, gather for a farewell dinner.
